Advisory

Let’s make it real.

Most engagements follow a simple ladder — start small to see clearly, go deep to build it, then keep a steady hand on the outcome. You choose where to enter; every step begins with a conversation, not a contract.

01 / Four ways in

An engagement ladder, not a menu.

Each step goes deeper and asks for more commitment than the last. Most relationships start on one of the first two rungs and grow from there.

I

Working session

Ninety minutes on the one question that’s holding you up.

Fastest way in

For a leader facing one specific decision — a migration path, a new role, whether a capability is ready to become an offering.

  • A clear recommendation, and the reasoning behind it
  • The risks that would change that recommendation
  • What to do in the next two weeks
You bring
The question in a few lines, and the options you’re stuck between.
Not included
A written assessment, access to your systems, or follow-up work.

II

Diagnostic

A short, fixed-scope engagement to see clearly and decide.

Common starting point

For leaders who need clarity before committing — where you stand, and what to do next.

  • An honest assessment of your current state — infrastructure, AI delivery, or operating model
  • A target model, and the real gap between here and there
  • A prioritized roadmap with the business case behind it
  • A clear recommendation — including "don’t" as a legitimate answer
You bring
Access to the people who run the area, and the documents that already exist — plans, org charts, current numbers.
Not included
Implementation, hiring, or vendor selection.
Format: a few weeks · fixed scope · one clear deliverable setStart with a diagnostic →
III

Transformation

Design it, staff it, and stand it up — until it’s actually running.

Where the impact is

For organizations ready to move from plan to reality — and want it built, not just advised.

  • The operating model, offerings, or delivery approach designed for your context
  • New roles defined, with the path to hire, train, and deploy them
  • Playbooks, sales flow, and the mechanics that make it repeatable
  • Hands-on until it ships and runs — accountable to the outcome, not a deck
You bring
An executive owner who stays in the room, and the people who will run the result.
Not included
Staff augmentation. You get a working model, not rented headcount.
Format: multi-month · milestone-based · hands-onScope a transformation →
IV

Retainer

A senior perspective on tap — to keep momentum and judgment sharp.

Ongoing

For leaders who want senior perspective on call — without a full-time hire.

  • Regular working sessions and on-call guidance
  • Pressure-testing decisions across infrastructure, AI, and operating model
  • Leadership and team mentoring where it helps
  • Continuity — someone who knows your context over time
You bring
A standing slot in your calendar, and the context shared between sessions.
Not included
Hands-on delivery — that’s a transformation.
Format: ongoing · monthly · flexible cadenceTalk about a retainer →
Most relationships start small — a working session or a diagnostic — and grow into a transformation and a retainer as trust builds. You never have to commit to the whole ladder up front.

Fees are agreed after the first conversation, once the outcome is clear.

03 / Fit

An honest filter, both ways.

I’ll say no if

  • You need a signature on a decision that has already been made.
  • Nobody who owns the outcome will be in the room.
  • You’re looking for people to rent by the hour — that’s the model I help companies move away from.

What happens when you write

04 / How it starts

Low friction, by design.

01

Conversation

A short call about what you’re trying to make real. No prep, no forms.

02

Scope

I come back with a clear, fixed scope and the outcome we’d aim for.

03

Engage

We start on the right rung — a session, a diagnostic, a transformation, or a retainer.

04

Outcomes

Delivered against what we agreed — and a clear path for what’s next.

05 / Questions

The questions people usually ask.

How is pricing structured?
It depends on scope and depth, so we agree it up front — after the first conversation, once we’re clear on the outcome. A working session and a diagnostic are fixed fees; a transformation is milestone-based; a retainer is monthly. No surprises, and no numbers pulled out of the air before we understand the work.
Do I have to start at the bottom of the ladder?
No. The ladder describes how relationships usually grow, not a sequence you must follow. If the direction is already clear, we can start with a transformation. If you only need one decision made well, a working session may be all you need.
Do you work independently or bring a team?
I work as an independent advisor and lead the engagement personally. For delivery-heavy work — standing up a Center of Excellence, building offerings, deploying new roles — I bring in a trusted team and stay accountable for the outcome.
What kind of organizations do you work with?
Mid-to-large engineering and technology organizations that have real ambition and budget, and need the delivery model to match — whether that’s infrastructure, AI, or the operating model itself. Often the three connect.
Which of the three practices should we start with?
Wherever the pain is clearest. Many engagements begin with a diagnostic in one area and reveal that the real leverage is somewhere adjacent — AI delivery that stalls on the operating model, or an operating model held back by infrastructure. We start specific and follow the evidence.
Do you work remotely or on-site?
I’m based in Kraków and work remotely by default, with on-site time where it earns its place — kickoffs, workshops, and the moments that need people in a room.
What makes this different from a traditional consultancy?
I’ve built and run these things at real scale — a 100+ specialist Center of Excellence, an offering-led operating model, AI embedded into how engineering actually works. So the work is hands-on and accountable to outcomes, not a deck and a handoff. And I’ll tell you when the answer is "don’t."
Do you also speak or run workshops?
Yes — talks and working sessions on AI delivery, engineering leadership, and the move from output to outcomes, for conferences and leadership teams. Start the same way: a short message.
06 / Next step

Four rungs, four different first messages.

Pick the one that matches where you are. A few lines is enough.
